So, I got two new tattoos a little over a week ago at a Tattoo Expo. With tons of artists to choose from, I figured I’d be able to get a pretty decent one. Well, $450 later, I had two. Originally a masquerade mask, I had it split in two, putting one on each forearm. It looked pretty cool, almost like two colorful birds looking at each other. I was very pleased when I left. So much so that I left a $4o tip.

Flash foward to 10 days later. It looks like ass. It didn’t heal well, either because me or because of him. This is the eight time I’ve gott a tattoo done, so I know how to take care of one. I really don’t understand what happened. The outer edges healed fantastically, but the inside areas scabbed over real bad. The left one looks like pink ink bled into the whole thing, all the detail from the inside is gone and it’s lost all it’s luster. I keep hoping in a few days will be ok, but it’s not getting any better at this point. The right one has also lost all it’s detail, but as bad. I’d show you how they look, but they are so awful I don’t anyone to see them.

Ultimately, I’ll probably have to go somewhere else and get the whole thing done again. Which sucks as it will probably cost me a few more hundred bucks. If I didn’t already have other tattoos that have healed so great, I would never get another one again. But this is the first time this has happened, so as long as I can get them fixed, I’ll be happy.
