Panic Attack
Posted by Gypsy on Aug 23, 2005
So school started yesterday. The school only lets online students take two at a time because they are only eight weeks long. Usually I hate that because I’m ready to be done with school. But for once I’m grateful.
The first class I’m taking is a simple algebra class. Nothing too hard, it should be an easy A.
The second class is a management class. And let’s just say I almost had a panic attack while the syllabus was printing and called Hubby practically in tears. Just the syllabus is about 15 pages long. The workload each week is crazy and on top of it the teacher wants us to be online and posting five days a week.
The reason I take classes online is because I need flexibility. There are a lot of days when I don’t have any time to work on homework and then a day where I’ll have hours to work on it. Plus I’m going on leave next week to visit Hubby before he deploys. I’d rather not spend our last week together doing homework. Growl. If it wouldn’t cost me $750 I’d totally drop this class.
Anyway, the point of this rant is that I may not be able to post too much over the coming weeks as I spend time with Hubby and get settled into school. Or my posts will just consist of photos or something. Or incoherent babble as I start to have a breakdown from the stress of school.
