I hate spam

Posted by Gypsy on Mar 31, 2007

Not the canned meat product as I’ve never had that before, but spam comments. Seriously, in the last twelve hours I’ve gotten 19 spam comments from the following authors:

big natural boobs
sex ape
gang rape
teen upskirt
bubba sparxxx
queer as folk
anal sex
sister sex
kim possible naked
we
animal sex
free hentai videos
911
sex pussy
ampland movies
tight pants
sex positions
pornstarfinder
cars

And my new favorite: teen titans cartoon porn

Seriously, most frustrating thing ever. There are days when I delete upwards of 50 spam messages from my moderation queue. What the hell is wrong with people?

I’m way too impulsive

Posted by Gypsy on Mar 28, 2007

In a stunning display of my ability to be completely impulsive, last night around midnight I made the decision to go to Europe. And 14 hours later, the plane tickets were bought and the passport applied for. So this is the big announcement for all my European friends. I will be leaving Las Vegas on April 28th and staying for two weeks. Definite plans for the trip include a visit to Scotland to see Kelvin and Amanda and hopefully a couple day in Italy. Otherwise, I really haven’t even thought about what I want to do. I’m still trying to make sure all this is real. I still have my flight confirmation up on my computer screen because I can’t completely believe it’s going to happen. Someone pinch me.

PlantLove

Surfing around on Outblush the other day I came across this new lipstick from Cargo. It’s called PlantLove and what is so cool about it is that the tube is made of corn, making it biodegradable, which means better for the environment. On top of that, the box is made from paper that is infused with wildflower seeds, so rather than throw it away, you can plant yourself some wildflowers with it. To make it even better, $2 from every tube sold is being donated to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

I ended up buying two tubes, the Mariska Hargitay and Courtney Cox colors. The Courtney color isn’t on the Web site, but was there in the store. I can already tell they will quickly become favorites of mine as they are moisturizing thanks jojoba and shea butters. And just like everything else about them, the actual lipstick is also environmentally friendly, containing no mineral oils or petroleums. So check them out.

She’s not wearing shoes

Posted by Gypsy on Mar 7, 2007

Being unemployed gives me a ton of time to do things I’ve never done before. I don’t usually take advantage of this time, but the other day decided to take a break from my rut to have early-afternoon cocktails with one of my girlfriends. Being that it’s the middle of the week, the bar is pretty dead and we decide to hit the patio to smoke and see people watch. The town we live in is a bit of an end of the world for people. There are homeless and strung out people who wander randomly on the streets because they are either homeless or just have no clue where they are. I thought I had seen everything until today.

It’s not quite one in the afternoon and we are sitting on the patio with our drinks when a white company-type pick-up truck pulls up to the side of the road not 30 feet from us. Out hops a woman, probably late 30s, in a tangerine sleeveless crop top and denim shorts, who starts walking up the street in our direction. Upon further inspection, I notice that while walking she is also buttoning up her shorts. I think I even saw her wipe her mouth. Of course, I point her out to my girlfriend, who’s first response is to tell me that the woman is wearing no shoes.

And people wonder why I’m so amped to leave this town. Even with the possible job offer I got today to stay, I think it’s time for me to go.
