So after ten weeks worth of work, I’ve gone through 7 out of 36 pages of my chart. Here is where I’m currently at:

Pale Rose: Week Ten

Can you say ouch?

Because I sure did. Many many times today while at the tattoo shop. I don’t know why, but today’s tattoo hurt worst that most of the ones I have. I figure this is because it’s been awhile since I’ve gotten one in a painful spot and because my back isn’t exactly toughened up since I take pretty good care of my skin and don’t tan and stuff. But I wasn’t the only one who got tattooed. Jack got his cherry popped with an awesome pin up to commemorate his last 15 months in Iraq. Here are a couple photos. The rest are on my Flickr site (linky to the left). They were both tattooed by Tom at Physical Graffiti in Rochester, NY.

Fight me.

Things are coming together

Posted by Gypsy on Jan 16, 2008

There really hasn’t been a wedding update lately with all my traveling, so here’s a little insight into how things are going. Invitations have been sent out, though it seems like everyday Andy and I are reminded of someone we left off the list. Luckily, there is still time to send out those last minute invitations. Unfortunately, though, I’m starting to run out of them. I’ve actually got a bunch of RSVPs back and the list of people who will be there keeps getting better and better. So far it looks like my friend Andrew is going to win furthest distance traveled, coming all the way from the UK.

There are a million and one phone calls to make and emails to send as the process keeps moving. More importantly, though, Andy and I were able to buy our plane tickets yesterday ensuring that we can actually be at our own wedding. I’m honestly shocked at how smoothly this process is going as there were more than a couple snags the first time I went through all this. I take it as a sign. We even thought Amanda’s dress was going to cause issue as it’s too late to order anything, so we have to go with something off the rack. But the first time we went somewhere together to look we were able to get one. Such luck!

Less than 5 weeks to the big day. Can’t believe it’s coming up so soon, but I can’t wait!
