Pale Rose: It’s all over!

Posted by Gypsy on Apr 23, 2009

18 months after I first started her, I’ve finally finished stitching Pale Rose. I seriously finished about 10 minutes ago, so I don’t even know what to say right now. I’ve been working on her for so long that it’s going to be weird working on something new. I still can’t believe I’m done with her. But she’s just beautiful, if I do say so myself. I will be taking her to a framers as soon as I can. I can’t wait to have her up on my wall.

Even after working on her for so long, I was still pretty shocked to see how big she is at 18 inches tall and 14 inches wide. 212,000 stitches, total.

And now, without further ado, Pale Rose:

Pale Rose: All done

She’s beautiful! The largest project I’ve worked on is probably like 5×7 lol so I seriously have kudos for you!

She’s fabulous! I have really enjoyed watching you progress with her. She’s huge at 14×18, she will look spectacular on your wall all beautifully framed. I’m so jealous that you’ve finished a HAED!! xx
