Insanity ensues

Remember that post I was going to write about moving? Well, I assure you, it’s still in the works. However, things have been insane the last couple weeks and now that I have time for stuff I have to focus on school because I let it drop a little the last few days. So maybe early next week I’ll finally have some time to gather my thoughts.

Guest post: Andy says goodbye to California…

I’m working on a longer post about the last week, but as I haven’t had much time to write I’m going to allow Andy to do his goodbyes first. Shortly after this posts we’ll be packing the car and hitting the road. If I can manage to ride and write without vomiting, then sometime over the weekend I’ll add my own thoughts on this move and leaving California. For now, though, I’ll leave you to Andy.

Dear California,
Its been damn near 6 years since we met, we had some good times, we’ve also had some really really shitty times. We’ve met some awesome people: Clint Eastwood, Kevin smith, Thomas Jayne, just to name a few. But this letter is because I’m leaving you. I know that it’s time for me to pack my seabags and leave. There’s just more/better/different things I need now. You were fun for the time but any longer that 5 years 11 months a week and a day is the limit for me. I’m ready to leave your non-driving asshole tribesmen. It’ll be a great day when I no longer have to deal with you people.
For the last 5 years 11 months a week and a day, I’ve been hurt more than once, and I’m sick of coming back again and again. I feel like an abused woman, he says he will change, does the same thing again and again the same way over and over, and yet I expect you to change, lunacy. I’m sick of this I’m done, I’m out and I’m leaving you, and i will not return. I’m done with this shit.
