Best boyfriend ever

Andy is in Minnesota on leave for Christmas. He left 5 days before me and I come home form New York 5 days after him, which means 2 full weeks apart. So to cheer me up because I miss him so much, he sent me flowers. My favorite kind, even. He’s so wonderful and sweet. I love that guy. (For those of you who don’t know, his real name is Craig, hence why the card says Craig.)

Congratulations to my good friends Kristen and Allen, who got married on Monday in a small civil ceremony.
So this post is for them. I wish you both a long and happy marriage with all the joys that it brings. Marriage isn’t easy, but I know you two are going to happy together. I’m so happy for you both. Everyone deserves to find the other half that makes them whole and I’m glad you found each other. Congratulations.
Thanksgiving, gift wrap and making things final
Posted by Gypsy on Nov 25, 2006
This year, for the second time in my life, I went for the non-traditional Thanksgiving dinner. With things being so hectic lately, all I really wanted to do was spend the day relaxing at home. And since I’m not the greatest of cooks, I decided to go with something I knew I could cook. On top of it, Andy was so wonderful to be willing to participate in my non-traditional holiday. So for dinner, we had a couple of really nice steaks for the butcher, pasta and peas. Then dessert was a cheesecake. Of course, I still went with the Frost family traditional holiday breakfast, which is Pillsbury cinnamon rolls. I don’t really know when or how this tradition started, but it’s been one in my family as long as I can remember and it’s one of my favorites. The rest of the day was spent watching some movies we rented and just sitting on the couch. And it was wonderful.
And even though I’m a couple days late, I want to share what I am thankful for. I am thankful for my family and friends, for the people who got me through the last year when things haven’t been so great and for my fellow servicemembers who are giving up their holidays to help further democracy.

Now that turkey day is over, it’s time to start thinking about Christmas. This is my favorite holiday mainly because it gives me the chance to get creative. I love thinking of the perfect Christmas gifts for people and making them pretty. Each year I like to do some sort of theme with the wrapping. It’s not enough for me to get a great gift. I want to make it pretty, too. Last year, it was all about Disney. There was also a Rugrats year and a Spongebob year. Can you see a theme?
But this year I’ve decided to be a little more grown up about my wrapping paper choices. So this year I’m going with this:

I’ve been putting off writing about this because there have been happier things to write about, but I just want to get this out there. Last weekend, I got the paperwork for my divorce from the court. As of January 26, 2007, I will no longer be married. I’ve discussed my marriage and divorce so many times on this site that I really don’t think there is anything to say at this point. I just wanted to share.
